Patagonia in Depth

Chile      Argentina

Discover the natural splendours which fill Chile and Argentina during this two week itinerary. Transporting you from one destination to another in the upmost comfort and staying in luxury accommodation, we are confident you will fall in love with these two South American countries.

Jump straight into the exciting Argentinean way of life with a three night stay in the exhilarating and stylish capital city, Buenos Aires. Spend your days bouncing from the sophisticated restaurants to the avant-garde galleries, from the intimate cafes to the unique boutique shops. From here you will trade the cosmopolitan city life for the captivating nature of El Calafate down in the south of the country. Enjoy your first experience of the untouched nature of the Patagonia and the wild, barren beauty of the Parque Nacional Los Glaciares which holds the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier.

Cross the border into neighbouring Chile and the town of Puerto Natales. Make the most of the surrounding nature and abundance of activities on offer from the hotel, The Singular, by journeying into the Torres del Paine National Park. Brimming with snow-capped mountain peaks, flowing rivers and cascading waterfalls, the landscapes of this part of the world are incredibly impressive.

For the last part of your whirl-wind journey, you will travel even further towards the bottom of the world on your Australis cruise. Your three night cruise will take you to the remote, beautiful natural wonders of the last southern frontier. Travel through the channels of Tierra del Fuego island towards the majestic glaciers, the sub-polar forests while passing colonies of the native species of elephant seals, leopard seals and magellanic penguins. All of your discoveries will be supported with presentations from the guides on the wildlife, geography and history of the area, both on board and on land. An unforgettable trip, this legendary region of the world is guaranteed to leave you with wonderful memories.
