You will arrive at Belize Airport and be transferred to either Chaa Creek or Pook's Hill in the Cayo District.

Today you will start your day by enjoying a tour of Xunantunich meaning 'Stone Woman' in Mayan. This site located on the banks of the Mopan River was once a popular city in the 300-900AD time. The tallest pyramid in the site is 130 feet, El Castillo, is known for the band of stucco decoration which once extended around the whole temple. In the centre of the site, there are 6 major plazas and more than 25 temples and palaces in the whole area.

We will then travel to the river at Barton Creek wehre we will take a canoe ride into the cave system of Xibalba (Maya for Underworld). This cave system was used for ceremonial purposes and also as a burial site by the Maya people.

Today we will drive to Caracol meaning Snail which is the largest site in Belize. It spreads over 30 square miles of jungle canopy and has five plazas, over 35,000 identified buildings and an astronomic observatory. The largest pyramid (Cana) is capped by three temples and is over 140 feet above the jungle floor.

After exploring Caracol, we will enjoy a picnic lunch and en route to the hotel stop at the Rio-On Pools and Rio Frio Caves.

Before boarding a flight to Punta Gorda, you will stop at Belize Zoo with over 125 native animals and at the Tropical Education Centre which provides homes to animals used in documentaries.

You will be able to choose from a variety of included activities such as; visiting Mayan ruins, cultural experiences and jungle walks!

Today you will fly to Punta Gorda and spend three nights at Robert's Grove or Singing Sands in Placencia.

Spend the day relaxing on the beach or let us organise some activities!

Depart from Placencia to go to Belize Airport.
