After collection from your hotel, your group tour begins by driving along Avenida 9 de Julio passing the famous Colon Theatre. Continue to historic Plaza de Mayo, bordered by Government House, the old City Hall and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Head south to San Telmo with its colonial houses, cobblestone streets and antique shops, before continuing to fashionable Palermo, location of the Botanical Garden, National Polo Field and Planetarium. Return via Recoleta, with its restaurants, coffee shops, nightclubs and boutiques. Finally visit Recoleta Cemetery to see Evita´s mausoleum. The afternoon is at your leisure, maybe take a private tour of the cities museums or just stroll around the city at your own pace. This evening will be spent at a Tango show including dinner. Leave your hotel for the journey along Lago Argentino to Los Glaciares National Park, 80 km from El Calafate. Here, the Perito Moreno Glacier, a huge river of ice 30 km long with a snout 5 km wide, descends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field to Lago Argentino. As it advances, the ice cracks and produces thunderous roars that reverberate from deep within the glacier, producing a hugely impressive show. A walk along the paths in front of its western wall allows you to admire this natural wonder from different viewpoints. If you like you may also take an optional one-hour boat trip to enjoy views of the glacier wall from lake level, allowing you to gain a better idea of the height of its peaks and towers. This morning join our group tour which begins by heading out along the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Passing Huemul Island, continue through varied landscapes to the base of Cerro Campanario and take a chair lift to the top, from where there is a spectacular panorama over the entire region. The route then takes you past the San Pedro and Llao Llao peninsulas and over the Angostura River, which connects Lakes Moreno and Nahuel Huapi, to Bahia Lopez, at the foot of Cerro Lopez. Continue further to a lookout point, where there are fine views back to Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao Peninsula. Return via Laguna Trebol to Bariloche.Overnight at Design Suites Bariloche.

A day at leisure in Bariloche. Spend the day eating chocolate after all Bariloche is Argentina's chocolate capital, take a boat cruise or go windsurfing on one of the many lakes. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the lakefront, kayak along the lake edge or visit Cavernas del Viejo Volcán, a cave complex that was inhabited
