Situated on a private concession near the Tarangire National Park’s border, Nimali Tarangire is a comfortable yet luxurious lodge perfect for couples and families alike.
After making the short venture into the park, search for the Big Five on a walking or night drive before returning to one of eight tented suites. Only a two-hour drive from Arusha Airport, one-hour from Manyara Airstrip and 10 minutes from Randelien Airstrip, you’ll be spotting wildlife in no time.

Accommodation
Nimali Tarangire has eight spacious, tented suites – each with an ensuite bathroom and private deck.
Additionally, there are two family suites (two interconnecting tents). These options can sleep four adults or a family of five (with three children). In the centre, there’s a communal living area.
Enjoy a delicious three-course meal served in the communal dining area, with various options catering for most dietary requirements and fresh seasonal ingredients all bursting with flavour. There’s also a boma area for sundowner drinks as well as a lounge area for relaxing.
Wildlife, Activities and Facilities
During a walking or night drive, you can spot all of the Big Five. Most notably, there’s a pride of lions who can be heard roaring from your camp at night. Zebra, giraffe and wildebeest also live here.
The best time to visit is between June and September when it’s cooler and the animals are more active. However, the camp is open all year round and game viewing is superb season to season.
The lodge offers morning and afternoon game drives on concession, day trips into Manyara and Ngorongoro conservation areas in addition to guided walks, night drives and cultural visits.
There’s also a dedicated children’s programme. Younger ones are invited to adventure through the park and learn how to identify animals, discovering their interesting habits and where they roam.
Not only that, but you even have a swimming pool, Wi-Fi, boma and photographic hide.
