Kirsten Woolley

Born and bred in Durban, on South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal coast, Kirsten has been working in the travel industry for four years and with Rainbow Tours since March 2010. After studying Retail Travel at college in Durban, she started out as a ground handler for Thompsons Africa, working with Canadian and American agents.

During this time she thoroughly explored South Africa's Garden Route, Cape Town, KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape. She says that the time spent here really forged a real love for South Africa’s history and culture. Kirsten also visited Livingstone, Victoria Falls and Botswana during this time.

In early 2010 Kirsten made the decision to move to London with her partner. Since starting work at Rainbow Tours, she has visited Mauritius and Mozambique on educational trips, and loved them both. She says that her ultimate travel experience is probably her trip to the safari camp Explore Gorongosa and the beach lodges in Northern Mozambique.

Kirsten has also recently travelled throiughout Botswana as well as in Zambia and Namibia, all of which she says she loves in different ways. But she still adores all things South African, enjoying creating exclusive and original holiday itineraries for her clients.
