I returned from Oman & the UAE a few days ago… and we both agreed that we must thank you again! We had a fantastic and well-organised trip to a fascinating country (and we do travel a lot). [The Rainbow Tours representative in Oman] tried everything possible to show us as much as could be done in the rather short space of time. All the guides and drivers were excellent, but we particularly liked Ali Al-Abri, our guide for the main part of the trip.
Omani people are very warm, hospitable, very open and with a lovely sense of humour. We even managed to get upgraded to the presidential suite at the Al Bustan (not quite sure how, but it was amusing). Yet, our favourite stay was probably at Wahiba Sands in the Bedouin tent with an open fire and the star-lit night sky above. It was sufficiently far away from everything and host Henry is doing a fantastic job for his clients. We would also like to recommend Ras Al Jinz at any time of the year. The visitor centre is excellent and although we "only" saw one turtle nesting during the evening walk, there was certainly a lot more activity during the night which we witnessed during our very own early morning sunrise walk.
I wanted to say thank you for organising such a fantastic trip. You were not only very prompt with our relatively late booking but provided us lots of information about Oman and were a real pleasure to deal with. Thank you again.
