Situated 100 miles north of the mainland of Venezuela, the Los Roques archipelago forms one of the largest marine national parks in the Caribbean, with expansive white sand beaches, warm azure seas and an abundance of marine flora and fauna. The simple posadas, great snorkelling and diving make this one of our favourite places. Isla Margarita is Venezuela’s most developed beach destination. The island has seen considerable development of late yet still has much to offer including three national parks. The beaches vary enormously from busy with vibrant nightlife to peaceful and remote, so there really is something for all tastes.
