

OKAUKUEJO, one of three newly refurbished rest camps, provides excellent accommodation inside Etosha. This popular lodge is situated at the southern entrance to the park, overlooking a permanent, floodlit waterhole, regularly frequented by game. The lodge facilities include a swimming pool, shop, restaurant and bar.

Accommodation at Okaukuejo ranges from 40 well-priced double rooms to 5 double-story premier chalets with a balcony overlooking the waterhole. Two 2-room chalets offer a good alternative for families. There is also a campsite for those on a tighter budget.
Half-day guided game drives can be booked, as can night drives.

Premier Waterhole Chalet from £110 per person sharing (up to four adults), including dinner and breakfast.
Children under 6 stay free of charge; 6-12 year olds pay 50%.

Children 6-12 half price.
No children under 6 are allowed on game drives, for safety reasons.
