

NAMUTONI is the easternmost of the three rest camps in Etosha, and is perhaps the most upmarket. It is built around an old German fort overlooking the King Nehale waterhole, and from its raised walkway there are excellent views across the bush.

Accommodation consists of 20 attractive bush chalets and 24 striking double rooms. Facilities include two restaurants (African fusion and a steakhouse), bar, central lounge area, shops including a bookstore, and swimming pool.
Some units have disabled access, and this must be requested at time of booking.

Children under 6 stay free of charge; 6-12 year olds pay 50%.
Morning or afternoon game drives £28; night drives £36.
Children 6-12 half price.
No children under 6 are allowed on game drives, for safety reasons.
