Ringtail lemurs
The essence of Madagascar lies in its contrasts, and this tour visits:
- lush tropical rainforests in Andasibe-Mantadia (Perinet) and Ranomafana National Parks. Look for Indri, Diademed Sifaka, Black & white ruffed lemurs and Bamboo lemurs
- the scenically spectacular massif of Isalo National Park
- transition forest of Zombitse Forest National Park
- Berenty Private Reserve in the arid south, famed for its thriving populations of the iconic Ringtail lemurs and Verreaux sifakas.
This itinerary also provides the opportunity to see an abundance of compellingly unique reptiles and frogs, unusual birds and fascinating invertebrates, as well as incomparably diverse flora ranging from baobabs and octopus trees to endemic palms and orchids.
